Hi, I’m Julian Park, an oil baron, and this is my ranch. Don’t believe me?

That’s because I’m a better realtor than I am an actor.

I’m actually here at Orcutt Ranch in West Hills. This area used to be home to many Native Americans and this ranch was owned by William Orcutt, a REAL oil pioneer. If you visit here, you can see some surprising decorations. When the city bought it, it was made into a historic, cultural monument .

There are other historic monuments in West Hills, along with a commercial and business district, and many shopping options.

Some great hang outs are the Stonefire Grill where you can take the family
and the Ayce Gogi Korean BBQ which even offers lunch boxes.
There’s also Italian, Thai, and Chinese food nearby. The only problem with all these options is making up your mind.
The same often happens when you are shopping for a house . . .

For families, there are nine neighborhood parks, or pocket parks as they are called, and four open space parks in West Hills. Shadow Ranch Park is one, and it is also another historical, cultural monument. You don’t have to drive far to enjoy a family outing.

There are also 13 schools within West Hills, including two private high schools: Chaminade College Preparatory and New Community Jewish High School. There are numerous adjacent public high schools as well.

The actress, America Ferrera was raised and went to school in this area. She was the star of the hit series Ugly Betty and was also one of the leads in Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.

Is that really a title of a movie?
