Usually a dent in the surface of a paper card is game over. But if the conditions are just right, you have some options. This dent did not crack the surface paint so it gave me the ability to add a tiny bit of moisture to help raise up some unsightly blemishes without going into the card and soaking it.
Process.
1. Card Spray on the dent. 10 seconds or less.
2. Humidor at 70% for 40 minutes.
3. Remove card and gently take a few passes over the dent with the Card Tool.
4. Let the card rest for an hour.
I did this cycle three times over 2 days. If you have issues like this practice on your base cards. It’s simple. Put your thumb nail into it and start practicing.
