As a continuation of the Summit’s engagement with producer groups and the Action Track Public Forums, the Summit Secretariat hosted three producer Public Forums to accommodate different time zones.
This producer Public Forum 2 took place 5 May 2021, to accommodate for North America and South America time zones.
These Forums aim at updating producers – farmers and other food producers – across the globe of the latest Summit progress; seeking inputs and recommendations on emerging solution areas from producers; and mobilizing their participation in the upcoming producer-focused dialogues. The Forums will have representatives from the Action Tracks, Food Systems Summit Dialogues as well as key producer groups engaged in the Summit process and beyond. Participants will be invited to reflect on current progress and share their thoughts and feedback.
