Using the IC-7300 at 0% TX Power and FT-1000MP at 5W

Описание: Testing low transmit power on HF 20M between an IC-7300 and a Yaesu FT-1000MP. The distance is relatively short (544 KM) but this one I got on video for you to see. These tests usually reveal that the most important item is the antenna, not the power. Technically the IC-7300 still outputs approximately 700mW at 0%. For the antenna, I was using a 33 foot MFJ-1910 Telescoping Fiberglass Mast with an Icom AH-4 AutoTuner. Thanks to AJ2I for providing his video and very nice QSO.
