Introduction:
PUP East-West Scholar Talk is a series of events to connect leading scholars from PUP author pool, to foster scholarly conversation between East and West, and to provoke people’s thoughts and stimulate conversations among students and scholars, across disciplines and among different cultures. The recent talk between professor G. John Ikenberry and Xuetong Yan covers topics of US-China Relations and International Leadership. Professor G. John Ikenberry is the Albert G. Milbank Professor of Politics and International Affairs at Princeton University. Professor Xuetong Yan is Professor of Political Science and Director of the Institute of International Studies at Tsinghua University. Professor Daniel A. Bell is the moderator of this talk and he is Dean of the School of Political Science and Public Administration at Shandong University.
