How To Make a Pokémon Rom Hack GBA Part 21 ⚙ Another FAILED Attempt To Change Fire Red Title Screen

Описание: Today, we’re back making our Pokémon Rom Hack. In this episode, I once again fail in my attempt to change the Pokémon text on the title.

In this episode, we look at Spherical Ice’s tutorial on the Pokecommunity website.

This one features logging using VBA-M, a new versions of Visual Boy Advance. Using the logging, we can find the memory locations of the title screen art

I of course struggle with the unLZ-GBA stuff, but we also look at another program called GBA Graphics Editor. I don’t fully understand the point of this program Ace, but that is due to my extreme inexperience with it.

We also look at another new program called HxD. I am personally very excited with this one Ace, since it shows the full rom as in Hex notation. On its own, that may seem a little lame, but during the tutorial, we actual get to go in and change the pointers to the title screen art manually… which I really like 😊 More of this I say!

A little warning Ace… I was recovering from a cold in this episode, so there is a bit of weazying/sniffing/coughing 😊
I got most of it in the edit, but there still maybe a little left.

I also started to get pretty hungry during the recording, and started getting frustrated with my constant failure. I personally think it is funny Ace, though it may come across as whiney 😊
