Isle of Man From The Top Deck Of The Bus 2 (Douglas to Ramsey)

Описание: Took Bus #3 from Woodbourne Road, Douglas to Waterloo Road, Ramsey via Onchan and Laxey. The route is about 26km (16 miles) and takes about 45 minutes. The journey follows Woodbourne Road out of Douglas (the Manx capital, only city, population 27,000) and traces the start/finish line of the Isle of Man TT course at first then takes Governor's Road and Main Road through Onchan village (the second-largest settlement, population 9,000) and the continuation of this road through the parish of Lonan and the village of Baldrine (population 500) along the coast into Laxey (population 2,000). From Lonan through to Ramsey the route is mostly alongside the Manx Electric Railway. The route also passes through the villages of Dhoon (population 300) and Maughold (population 500) before arriving in the northern coastal town of Ramsey (the largest town and third largest settlement, population 8,000). The fotage was filmed in January 2025 on a rather wet day.
