Hre Pyaz ki do Sabjiyan (Spring Onion Vegetables) by easylife
Ingredients:
Spring Onion- 250 gm, Medium Size Tomatoes-2, Green Chilies-2, Turmeric Powder-½ tsp, Red Chilli Powder- ½ tsp, Coriander Powder- 2 tsp, Asafoetida-½ tsp (If very strong take ¼ tsp) , Mustard Seeds 1 tsp, Gram Flour- 2 tbsp, Oil -3 tbsp, Salt to test.
Method:
Spring Onion ki Sabji (Variation 1):- Put the pan on medium flame & pour oil. When it is heated put mustard seeds when it sputters add green chilies & Asafoetida and close the lid. Put White part of spring onion and stir well. When It gets slight golden brown put chopped tomatoes, stir well. When the tomatoes get cooked, put turmeric Powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder and salt as per test. Stir well. When the masala leaves the oil put green part of spring onion and mix it well. Cook it for 3 minutes till the vegetable leaves the oil and get cooked. Take out the vegetable in serving dish.
Besan wale Spring Onion (Variation 2):- Follow the variation one steps till last then add 2 tbsp gram flour (for 100 gm, of spring onion taken) mix it well with the vegetable, cook for 3-4 min. It is ready, garnish with green coriander leaves serve hot.
