Описание: Jacob Johns, a community supported organizer and Unitarian Universalist from the Akimal O’otham and Hopi Nations, will update our congregation on his work championing climate policy rooted in global solidarity at the 30th United Nations Conference of the Parties in Belem, Brazil where he led an indigenous delegation last fall. Johns, a Spokane resident, has traveled the world to stand up for a wide range of causes, including protecting water and opposing the construction of the Dakota Access Pipeline.
