In this short video Byron demonstrates how one can reduce/relieve neck cramps/tension with acupressure points on the lower arm.
Byron demonstrates three simple and easy to use acupressure points to relieve neck pain, tension, stiffness and reduced cervical range of motion.
This area / 3 points are easily rubbed by crossing your arms and rubbing both sides simultaneously or just rubbing/pressing one side at a time. These points are also easily massaged by a friend or partner.
B&G's Goal is to empower everyone with the knowledge and tools to help themselves whenever possible. Acupressure is a wonderful home remedy to address many common ailments.
For neck pain/tension:
The first point is located on the outside middle of the elbow crease in line with the middle finger. This point can be looked up under the acupressure name LI 11 or large intestine 11 for more detail.
The second point is located about 2 inches below LI 11, also in line with the middle finger, in the center of the forearm muscle when the wrist is flexed. This point can be looked at under the name SJ9/TH9 also known as San Jao 9 or triple heater 9 for reference.
The third point is in line with the index finger also about 2 inches below the elbow crease where the LI 11 point is found. This point is LI 10 or large intestine 10 when doing more internet research.
Techniques: The tender, sore, achy or painful points in this area can be pressed, rubbed, kneaded even tapped with or without oils. Do what feels comfortable and help your neck, elbows, forearms even hands feel rejuvenated!
Acupressure is the act of placing pressure on the energy meridians on the body to help increase blood flow and energy flow in areas of the body.
It is said that acupressure may influence the autonomic nervous system which controls involuntary things like heart, digestion and breathing. Acupressure also may help release endorphins which are natural pain relieving chemicals in the body.
In love & light,
B&G ⭐🦋
