Enforcement Directorate officials were attacked in Sandeshkhali, West Bengal on Friday. The incident occurred in the North 24 Parganas district, where the team had undertaken raids related to a ration distribution scam case.
The attack occurred when the team neared the residence of Trinamool leader Shah Jahan Sheikh. Over 200 locals encircled the ED officials and the central armed paramilitary forces accompanying the ED team.
