Hot Butter Cuttlefish | Crispy Hot Butter Cuttlefish | Hot Buttered Calamari | Hot Butter Squid | CRISPY HOT BUTTER CUTTLEFISH හදමු | HOW TO MAKE CUTTLEFISH | 3PR-37
INGREDIENTS
• Cuttlefish/ Squid/ Sotong – 400g
• Butter – 2tbsp
• Egg white – 1
• Bullhorn Chilli / Banana Pepper-1
• Onion- 1 large size
• Ginger Garlic Paste - 1tsp
• Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
• Chilli Powder – 2tsp
• Pepper Powder – 1½ tsp
• Salt
• Corn flour – 4tsp
• All purpose flour –4tbsp
• Chilli Flakes- ½ tsp
• Oil for deep frying
COOKING METHOD
1. Cut the cuttlefish into ¼ of an inch thick rings. Do not use the head part.
2. Cut the onion and banana pepper in shape of rings.
3. Take a bowl, add cuttlefish, ¼tsp turmeric powder, 1tsp chilli powder, 1tsp pepper powder, salt & mix well.
4. Add egg white and mix well.
5. Allow it to marinate for 30 minutes.
6. In a bowl add all purpose flour, corn flour, ¼tsp turmeric powder, 1tsp chilli powder, ½tsp pepper powder, salt & mix well.
7. Coat the marinated cuttlefish in the flour mix one by one.
8. Take a pan, add oil and deep fry the cuttlefish till it turns crispy and golden colour about 4-8 minutes.
9. Transfer to paper towels to drain.
10. Heat 2tbsp of butter in a pan and sauté chilli flakes, ginger garlic paste, banana pepper & onion.
11. Let it cook for 2 to 3mins on medium flame.
12. Add the fried cuttlefish and stir well.
13.Delicious hot butter cuttlefish is ready. Serve hot and enjoy.
