I've been listening to a lot of dark ambient artists like antent and øneheart on the train home lately, which often puts me in a reflective state. Thoughts on my life, the iterations of me as a person from times passed, coalesced in those winter hour commutes. As the NJ landscape blurred beyond the train cart's window, I found myself immersed in these tracks, their melancholic beauty casting a dreamy, blue fog over the world. I knew I had to explore this genre, and this collection is the fruit of that exploration. I do so hope you enjoy - Some of these tracks are personal favorites and there's an intimate honesty in them. Oh, and track 8 features my cat Foxy purring. How cute is that?
