At London Vegans' meeting 28th January 2026 our guest speaker was Sarah Bentley. Sarah is an author, podcast host, campaigner, keynote speaker, and the founder of vegan community cookery school and charity Made In Hackney.
In this fascination and interesting meeting she talks about some of the challenges of creating Made In Hackney, and of the work they do.
She also talks about the new cookery book 'We Cook Plants' ( available from https://tinyurl.com/WeCookPlants ) which features over 100 global recipes alongside important discussions around food justice, sustainability and veganism. All profits go to Made In Hackney
And finally she answers some questions from the audience.
