What you need to know to live & thrive in RVA:
1. Know the main streets! Here are the three I memorized that helped get me around town and recognize locations and suburbs! Broad St, Arthur Ashe Blvd and Belvedere!
2. Know the major highways! 64, 295 and of course 95!
3. Know what roads will have tows. Anytime you’re heading to Midlothian from rva and you don’t want to take the long route you will have to pay some tolls along the way! Another great idea is to join some local Facebook groups to get the latest news and updates!

4. Here are a few websites for singles and families alike that have an updated calendar of events for you to be in the know as to what’s happening in the city.

5. Start learning the “names” of all the hoods. Like the fan, museum district, Northside, Southside, etc!
6. What groceries stores are around? Kroger, Food Lion, Aldi, Publix are the most popular!
