While I talk fondly about cars of the 80s and 90s, I also long for the prices of yesteryear.
But as many of you have pointed out, those attractive prices disappear with inflation.
However, the average new car is dramatically outpacing inflation, and I decided to look into it.
What I found was manufacturers were making CARS much better equipped and safer while manufaturing efficiency has kept their prices below inflation.
So what's the disconnect? Buyer's demand for Trucks, that are outpacing inflation by thousands of dollars.
