7 Best Things to Do in Montreal with Kids | Driving from NY to Canada

Описание: We spent 3 days in Montreal soaking up the incredible Canadian culture and European inspired architecture of French Canadian Quebec. In this video we share seven super fun activities for kids along with the logistics of how we got there, where we stayed, and what you need to know about crossing the US Canada border by car.

Montreal is a unique blend of history and art, and it is a surprisingly easy 6 hour drive from the New York area. We chose to drive to keep costs down for our family of five and navigated the land border crossing at I-87 and Highway 15. We are sharing our experience with wait times, passport requirements, and the specific rules about what you can and cannot bring across the border.

In this guide we also give you a tour of the Hyatt Centric in Old Montreal. We used World of Hyatt points to book this stay and saved a significant amount of money by transferring points from our Chase Sapphire Preferred. The hotel is perfectly located near the Old Port where many of the city's best attractions are located.
