Wisetech Global CEO Richard White says one of the key reasons for his success is based on the fact he was “prepared to take a risk” with skills investments.
“I think the path, although it seems quite strange, was at the time – the steps were quite logical,” he told Sky News Business Editor Ross Greenwood.
“All I was really doing was taking those skills that I had and then adding new skills to it and experimenting with that new thing.
“One of the other characteristics perhaps is this idea that I was never really afraid of failure, I was prepared to take a risk, moderate that risk or mitigate that risk – try things.”
