This is my cover of the soundtrack that plays in episode 9 during the flashback where Rintarou’s mom explains why she also dyed her hair blond and got her ears pierced. I found this whole scene really touching — seeing young Rintarou wanting to give up everything was absolutely heart-wrenching. It was beautiful to see his mom support him in her own way. Definitely my favorite episode in season 1.
