David C. Yamada is a Professor of Law and Director of the New Workplace Institute at Suffolk University Law School in Boston. A globally recognized authority on workplace bullying, mobbing, and abuse, he has authored leading law review articles on the topic, as well as model anti-bullying legislation known as the Healthy Workplace Bill. His Minding the Workplace blog is a popular source of commentary on work, workers, and workplaces. David is also the founding board chairperson of the International Society for Therapeutic Jurisprudence and author of a comprehensive survey of TJ, “Therapeutic Jurisprudence: Foundations, Expansion, and Assessment” forthcoming in the University of Miami Law Review (2021). David earned his Juris Doctor degree from New York University in 1985.
