College isn’t always what people show you on TikTok or in the movies. Nobody told me how real the loneliness would feel. Some days you’re surrounded by people but still feel like you’re by yourself. Some days you’re questioning if you’re in the right place or if you’re even doing it right. I wish somebody would have told me that was normal.
In this video I’m sharing the things I wish I knew before college. From classes and professors to money, friendships, mental health, and just trying to figure out who you are. This is me being honest about what it’s really like and what I would do differently if I could start over.
If you’re about to start college, in the middle of it, or even thinking about it, I hope this gives you the clarity and comfort you need. You’re not alone in this.
