AFCON was one of those moments for me.
Standing inside those stadiums, hearing the roar of Africa, watching history unfold through my lens — I wasn’t just covering a tournament. I was living a dream I once only imagined.
This wasn’t just football.
It was pride.
It was pressure.
It was purpose.
From long days on my feet to split-second decisions behind the camera… from the noise of the crowd to the quiet moments alone after matches — AFCON stretched me, humbled me, and reminded me why I chose this path.
As a Ugandan sports journalist and photographer, this journey meant more than credentials and access. It meant growth. It meant belief. It meant Africa.
