That was my experience interviewing Samuele Mazza , a design pioneer of Sicilian heritage who spent decades forging a name for himself in the design world in Milano. He brought that same vision to Noto twenty years ago, restoring historic homes.

In this interview, Samuele Mazza shares how he got started in the region, how local design inspires his work and shared some tips on what to see when visiting Noto.

During the interview, he said that your home should reflect your history and the places you’ve been. As I’m decorating my new apartment, those are words that resonate strongly with me.
