May 12th, 1942 – Kerch Peninsula, Crimea

📝Hello Comrades! The Germans have launched Unternehmen Trappenjagd (Operation Bustard Hunt), and the Crimea 44th Army is the only thing standing between the Wehrmacht and the coast. The defensive lines stretch from sea to sea, but the air is thick with the smell of salt, cordite, and impending doom. 🌊🇷🇺

Our mission started with a desperate escort. With just a single M-37 gun, two Maxims, and a handful of brave souls, we had to clear the path. A German tank tried to block the way, but we turned it into scrap metal so the convoys could roll. 🚛💨

🛠️ Digging In & Mining Up
Once the path was clear, the real work began. We spent every second prepping the line:
Engineering: Foxholes dug, spirits high.
Scavenging: Found a damaged 76mm F-22 and a T-26—nothing a little grease and grit couldn’t fix! 🔧
The "Minefield" Strategy: I spammed the absolute sht* out of AT mines. If a German tank wants to breathe, it’ll have to do it through a cloud of explosives! 💣
Note to self: Watch out for falling debris. We lost a whole truck because a plane decided to crash right on top of it. Talk about bad luck! ✈️🔥 Luckily, the AA reinforcements arrived just in time to stop the sky from falling.
🌊 The Final Stand

As we moved to the frontline, the scale of the disaster became clear. The Northern flank was already a graveyard. We scrambled to repair abandoned AT guns and even turned captured Nazi armor back against its masters. 🔄🇩🇪
Then came the coastal assault. Artillery rained down from the NW, obliterating the line and taking far too many good men with it. But the orders were clear: Hold until the last ship is loaded.
The convoys are moving, the beach is a furnace, and the Red Army doesn't know how to quit. For the Motherland! 🎖️💪
