Harissa is a North African chilli paste which is super simple to make in your Thermomix. You can pay anything from $7.50 for a small jar through to over $12 at the supermarket.
If you are a Thermomix owner I'm guessing all you will need to buy are the red chillies. The spices are dry roasted to maximise flavour milled once cool and other ingredients then added.
I love harissa added to the cooked mayonnaise on Cookidoo and we particularly love the Moroccan lamb burgers with harissa yoghurt dressing - if you want a low carb version of that recipe use large mushrooms as the burger bun!
