Описание: You're too lazy to cook dinner... but still want something comforting and delicious?
This rice cooker chicken oyakodon is the ultimate lazy-but-tasty dinner. Just toss everything in, hit the button, and let your rice cooker do the work.

🍚 Juicy chicken, onion, and silky egg — all on top of fluffy rice. It’s cozy, satisfying, and minimal effort.

Recipe:
Chicken Oyakodon in Rice Cooker

Ingredients:
2 cup Uncooked Short-grain rice (rinse and drain)
1 cup water (for cooking rice)
1 chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
1 onion, thinly sliced
Spring onion, chopped
3 eggs, lightly beaten

Sauce:
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup mirin
2 tbsp Cooking sake
2 tbsp Monkfruit Sweetener or sugar (adjust to taste)
1 cup dashi stock or water with a pinch of dashi powder

Instructions:
1. Prepare Rice:
Rinse the rice until the water runs mostly clear.
Add rice and 1 cup water to your rice cooker inner pot.
2. Layer Ingredients:
Place sliced onions over the rice.
Top with chicken pieces evenly across the surface.
In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, mirin, sake (if using), sugar, and dashi.
Pour the sauce evenly over the chicken and onion.
3. Cook:
Set rice cooker to the "White Rice" or "Regular" setting.
Let it cook through one cycle (about 30–45 minutes depending on model).
4. Add Egg:
When cooking is complete, quickly open the lid and pour the beaten eggs over the top.
Close the lid and let it sit on “Keep Warm” for about 5–7 minutes until the egg is softly set. (Do not mix.)
5. Serve:
Fluff the rice gently without breaking the egg too much.
Scoop into bowls and garnish with chopped green onions or nori strips (optional).

📝 Tips:
Use chicken thigh for a juicier texture.
For a spicier version, add a touch of shichimi togarashi when serving.
Adjust sweetness by changing the amount of sugar or mirin.
