❕ZD30 + P0336 = What’s Really Happening

The ECU is losing or misreading crank signal during cranking.
On ZD30, when the CKP goes weak:

Long cranking
Sometimes starts, sometimes not
Worse when engine is hot
May stall suddenly
Injector timing goes crazy

Very Common ZD30 Causes

1️⃣ Weak CKP Sensor (TOP CAUSE)

Heat kills them
Internal resistance out of range
ECU sees signal but says “range/performance” → P0336

✔️ Fix: Replace sensor

Use Genuine Nissan or Hitachi
Cheap sensors cause same problem again

2️⃣ Oil or Dirt on Sensor Tip

Metal dust from flywheel

Starter current draw
Engine ground cable
