Описание: This video (second in a set of 3) describes how changes to the ion name endings and prefixes reflects changes to the ion formulas themselves. This portion focuses on the polyatomic ions ending with "-ite", and also introduces the prefixes "hypo-" and "per-". The system introduced, utilizing prefixes and suffixes in a numerically relative manner, can be applied to a variety of the more common "baseline" forms (-ate ions) introduced in the first video.
