For a longwinded read on analog vs digital, with pictures, there's my Substack. https://nightshiftshopworks.substack....
For Woodsmith Magazine: https://www.woodsmith.com/magazine/ We're showing chopped off pages and out of focus lettering from Woodsmith #75 June 1991. Revel in the ad-free state of the pages. I know I did.
I've been through quite a few of them, and for raw instruction and useful info, I like Woodsmith. I have 20 followers, 5 of which are probably family, so no, this isn't paid, it's just what I think.
For Popular Woodworking: https://www.popularwoodworking.com/ The new stuff is on Libby's Magazine rack. (Along with WOOD, Family Handyman, and Fine Woodworking.)

For your state library site, you'll have to DuckDuckGo or Qwent that on your own via browser. If you're not sure, beyond your local branch, it's page should have a link to the state database. They'll typically ship, for free, to your local branch. Not free, your taxes have already paid for it though. In addition, some locations offer small 3D printing, limited, and you have to have the pattern, which is useful for the occasional screw knob or small featherboard. Again, you've already paid for this.
For hard copy books, there is still the last mainstream bastion of used books: https://www.powells.com/ They also carry new. Or give money to that other place, your choices are your own.
