The prayer's meaning
Hallowed be thy name
Asking God to let his name be honored and worshipped on earth as it is in heaven
Lead us not into temptation
Asking God to guide us away from situations where we might be tempted to sin
Deliver us from evil
Asking God to deliver us from the evil one, or Satan, who lies to convince us we are unloved and unforgiven
