1. Drug Class:
• Glycopeptide antibiotic
• Used to treat serious Gram-positive bacterial infections, like MRSA, C. difficile (oral), and sepsis

📌 Administration (IV/Injection) Guidelines:
• Route: IV infusion (never IM)
• Infuse slowly over at least 60 minutes (longer for larger doses) to prevent Red Man Syndrome
• Use a central line for long-term therapy to avoid phlebitis or extravasation
