Stanley today is a seaside tourist destination: beaches, sunshine, and markets; Stanley, with its holiday atmosphere, was once the administrative centre of Hong Kong Island and a military stronghold. It is also home to some historic sites, such as Murray House, once associated with stories of hauntings, and Blake Pier, a site rich in history from the British colonial era, and the oldest functioning post office in Hong Kong. This video will introduce Stanley's attractions, taking you back to the Victorian era of British Hong Kong.
