In the scope of conversations around Stargate SG-1 and Atlantis and the Best Sci-Fi TV Shows of All Time, many of the cast members ended up appearing on Amanda Tapping's followup show, Sanctuary, which started as a web series and then ran for four seasons on the SyFy channel.
I had honestly completely forgotten about this show until someone brought it up during a recent conversation around Stargate revivals and reboots. Sanctuary was a REALLY cool show with an original sci-fi intellectual property that took myths and legends from our known history and applied them to this fantastical world, and it was a great concept show that proved you could do original science fiction...just on a super budget.
