Use Powder Metallurgy Technique To Make Graphite Crucibles !
1. Raw material preparation
Firstly, high-purity graphite powder should be selected as the main raw material. The particle size and other characteristics of the graphite powder will affect the performance of the crucible. Meanwhile, appropriate binders need to be prepared. The type and amount of binders are crucial as they can help the graphite powder form better. For example, some ceramic binders can provide good bonding effects after high-temperature sintering !
2. Mixing of raw materials
The graphite powder and binders should be thoroughly mixed in a mixing device according to precise proportions. This process must ensure uniformity and avoid situations where there is too much or too little binder in local areas. Mechanical stirring or other methods can be adopted, and both the stirring time and speed should be well controlled to achieve the optimal mixing state !
3. Extrusion molding in the die
Put the well-mixed raw materials into a specially designed crucible die. Apply appropriate pressure through pressure equipment to make the raw materials take the shape of a crucible in the die. 4. Sintering treatment

5. Shaping and subsequent treatment
There may be some dimensional deviations or surface irregularities on the sintered crucible, so shaping is required. Mechanical processing methods can be used to grind and trim the edges and inner walls of the crucible. In addition, some surface treatments, such as coating treatment, can be carried out to further improve the antioxidant property and service life of the crucible !
