C'est un vrai challenge pour l'orchestre et son violon solo.

I have great admiration for this inspired, virtuosic, and moving work for string orchestra. It is a real challenge for the orchestra and its solo violinist. Each variation is brimming with ideas. The Funeral March is a monument.
