On a wet, windy and very grey day a short excursion to this still working lighthouse.
Constructed and opened in 1908, at a modest height of just 17metres, it warns of the Llechdafad cliffs on the Pencaer Peninsula.
It is claimed to be one of the best places to watch for whales and dolphins in British waters.
The Llechdafad cliffs are designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI)
