Rohingya refugees living in camps in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh have been facing overcrowding, a lack of sanitation facilities, poor water quality, and limited medical facilities for years. Fears are growing about the potential impact of COVID-19 for the more 850,000 refugees in these camps. These communities must not be forgotten and an immediate response is needed.
This webinar will focus on the situation facing Rohingya refugees in Cox’s Bazar, updates for local medical clinics, projections for the virus impact, and key needs of health workers and local refugee communities.
