House Debates Ending DHS Shutdown with ICE & CBP Funding

Описание: The House of Representatives follows Senate action the night before on legislation to end a partial shutdown since February of the Department of Homeland Security.

The Senate bill having zeroed out resources for Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and Customs and Border Protection, Republicans sought to amend the Senate amendment to a bill the House passed in February to restore that funding. The House bill was passed by 213-203 late on a Friday night.
