Acura MDX 56K miles
3.7L J37A1 Engine.
3rd leg of the oil consumption test at the dealership. Already been back twice for the level Check and “top off”.
Burns well over 1qt per 1000 miles.
The dealer says this is normal!!
Car runs great plenty of power.
I’ve pulled spark plugs that were oil burned. Cleaned and replaced the PCV. Tail pipes always soot covered.
I keep extra oil in the trunk at all times.
I used 5w30 synthetic over the 5w20 recommended and it doesn’t help much with the oil burning. Fix this issue Acura!!
