One final stretch of walking — from Chepstow across the Severn Bridge and on to Severn Beach.
The river has already met the tide. What remains is the walk itself: bridges, old ferry crossings at Aust, industrial edges, and the vast openness of the estuary.
I’m joined by my long-time walking companion Donks.
The Wye may be finished. The walking goes on.
