Here is a concert video of a performance by the Chorale, Concert Choir, Women's Chorus, and a combination of all 3, of El Camino. The evening's music consists of pieces written by John Rutter, Giuseppe Pitoni, Duke Ellington, and including a traditional Swedish Folk Song. It starts off with Requiem by John Rutter in full, all 7 movements.
This was a pretty tight venue, the other concerts had me filming from a balcony, which gave me distance from the audience and better sound. This time I had to work from within the audience, so there will be some room noises, mixed levels and random sounds, but I tried to fix some of that. In parts I had to run the same track in layers to get the dynamic range in sound back, some parts blew my recorder's mic, leading to some clipping too and clever work arounds. Other than that, I thought it came out pretty good!
