The second edition of the @dubaifintechsummit launched this year at the Madinat Jumeirah, under the patronage of HH Sheikh Maktoum Bin Mohammed, Deputy Ruler of #Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Finance and President of #DIFC.
In his opening remarks, H.E Essa Kazim, Governor, DIFC highlighted the significant growth of the #FinTech sector, which included more than USD 100bn in global investments in 2023, a 50 per cent year-on-year increase.
To date, #DIFC has welcomed more than 1,000 #FinTech companies, which have raised more than USD 3.3 billion in funding, significantly contributing towards the Dubai Economic Agenda, D33.
