Norwegian guitarist, theorbo-player and mandolinist Jørgen Skogmo performs Canción del Emperador (Song of the Emperor) by Luis de Narváez, which has been newly added to the Trinity's Classical Guitar Syllabus 2020–2023 at Grade 8. This piece is included in Hispanae Citharae Ars Viva, published by Schott (see https://en.schott-music.com/shop/hisp...)
Inspiring repertoire is at the heart of Trinity's new syllabus, which has been created in consultation with leading classical guitar specialists. It features works from the Renaissance to the present day, pieces published for the first time, the inclusion of more repertoire by female composers and extends the duets option to Grade 5.
