My name is Ian and I have been a staff nurse for the last 10 years, all of which has been in the Trust I trained in.
For the last 9 years I have worked in critical care, either on Intensive Care or in the Surgical High Dependency Unit.
I met my wife at University, she is also a nurse within the Trust, we both decided to settle here and to raise a family. We have two children both born in this hospital.
As you can imagine we have now established some strong ties to the hospital and the community.
Derby is a lovely place to live and my family love the countryside and parks around the city, we also love having the facilities that living in a city offers.
