लोभ केला तर काय होतं?
या बोधकथेत आपण पाहणार आहोत एका लोभी कुत्र्याची गोष्ट,
ज्याने जास्त मिळवण्याच्या नादात जे हातात होतं तेही गमावलं.

ही गोष्ट लहान मुलांसाठी सोप्या भाषेत सांगितलेली आहे
आणि त्यातून एक महत्त्वाचा बोध मिळतो –
"लोभ वाईट असतो आणि समाधानातच खरं सुख असतं."

ही मराठी गोष्ट मुलांना नैतिक मूल्यं शिकवते
आणि पालकांसाठीही खूप उपयोगी आहे.

👉 जे आहे त्यात समाधानी राहावं
👉 जास्त हवं म्हणून सगळं गमावू नये

This story is known as "The greedy dog" in English.

The story is about a dog named "Moti".
Long time ago, there was a small village. There lived a small dog whose name is Moti. Once he was really hungry and was looking for food to eat.

While he was roaming around in the search of food , he came across a large kitchen where lots of people are busy in cooking food. He saw a meat bone kept aside in the corner, so he quietly went there and grab the meat bone and ran.

He ran very fast to so that no one can catch him with the meat bone. While running he came across a stream of flowing water. The water was crystal clear and flowing in a nice mesmerising rhythm. There was a nice wooden bridge over the water. Moti was walking on the wooden bridge, when he accidently looked in the water. The water shows reflection of Moti.

Moti saw his reflection and thought there is another dog with a meat bone in his mouth. He thought for some time, he thinks that he will scare the other dog then that dog will leave his meat bone and by this Moti will have two meat bones.

After thinking, Moti opened his mouth to bark on another dog. As soon as Moti opened his mouth the meat bone from his mouth fell down in the water. Dropping of the bone creates ripples in the water and the image of another dog vanished.

Moti understood that there was not another dog, what he thought was a mistake, but now that was really late. This way Moti understand that one should not have a greed and should be satisfied with what they have.

Moral of the story: One should never be greedy about anything, and we should learn to be satisfied with things that we have!
