Q1 Is Money Important? How important is money to you?
Ans – 1) In my opinion, money is a tool to buy tangible things to satisfy personal needs. Money is crucial to maintain a decent lifestyle and purchase everything we need. We can also help others in need if we have enough money.
2) Certainly, money plays a significant role in our lives. We need money to survive and to satisfy our wants and needs. Its significance lies in the fact that, without enough money, it will be hard to maintain a decent lifestyle.
Instead of Important I used words like, significance, crucial (these are all synonyms of important)
Q2 Do people in your country save their money?
Ans - I believe it's a great idea to save for a rainy day. Most people in my country understand that life is unpredictable, so they try to save money depending upon how much they earn. I have seen people saving for their children's higher education and marriage. I've also come across people who want to secure their post-retirement, so they set aside a certain amount from their monthly income.
Q3. Are you good at saving money?
Ans – 1) Since childhood, I have learned to set aside some amount from my pocket money as an emergency fund. This habit has helped me to become good at saving money. I make it a point to make savings every month without fail.
2) Honestly, I'm always on a shopping spree. My mother calls me a spendthrift. I'm trying to overcome this habit of free-spending, because I am not good at scrimping and saving. In fact, sometimes I fall short of cash even before the month end.
Q4. What sort of things do young people spend their money on?
Ans - When I was young, most adolescents used to spend money either on music CDs or books. We also used to buy gifts for our loved ones. However, the times have changed drastically. Youngsters these days spend a fortune on their looks, so they end up buying a lot of fancy clothes and accessories. They use the money to buy tangible things like electronic gadgets and to hang out with their friends.
Q5. How do you feel when you don’t have enough money to buy something you want?
Ans - I'm not too materialistic, so I don't prefer buying for pleasure. Therefore, I always have enough money to buy the things I need. However, if a situation arises when I can't afford to buy something I want, I do feel awful for a while. But, I gather myself up, and I start saving more by cutting down my expenses until I have enough to buy that particular item.
