We turn onto Clinton Street and pass one of Gray’s most recognizable landmarks — the historic Jones County Courthouse, a stately centerpiece that reflects the town’s deep 19th-century roots. From there, we wind through quiet residential streets, including Washburn Street and Old Clinton Road, where we pass through the scenic Clinton Historic District.

Clinton, once the original county seat before the railroad shifted development toward present-day Gray, is home to preserved historic homes, churches, and tree-lined streets that capture the charm of small-town Georgia. The district offers a glimpse into the area’s early history and antebellum architecture.
