Global gold prices pulled back as investors locked in profits after a historic rally. Spot gold slipped to around $5,330/oz, after briefly touching a record $5,594/oz intraday.
Despite the correction, gold is still up ~ 24% this month, on track for its best monthly performance since the early 1980s.
Analysts see the move as a technical pullback, with strong fundamentals intact — safe-haven demand, ETF inflows, central bank buying, and persistent geopolitical & inflation risks continue to support prices.
📈 Major institutions, including UBS, now see gold heading toward $6,200/oz in the months ahead.
