Raising Livestock Guardian Dog Puppies! | Protecting the Homestead

Описание: Why would you get a livestock guardian dog? Today, Josh and Annie sit down to discuss the advantages and usefulness of LGDs. We had a lot of issues with losing animals to predators until we got our Anatolian Shepherd/Great Pyrenees mix dogs to protect them. These canines are an example of working dogs in homesteading, and they serve a critical role on the farm. We'll share some livestock guardian dog training techniques we employed with our two dogs, and also our experience with the litter of puppies they had this winter.
