On this episode of our MiSTer series we will be taking a look at the new PS1 2X core added to the unstable nightlies MiSTer FPGA core list; the CPU is pegged at a pure 66.66 Mhz speed vs the retro gaming original PSX having a 33.33 clock speed...which makes some games that used to chug frame rate wise run MUCH FASTER on the 2X core. Video game emulation via FPGA is just magic sometimes!
